The Magic of Net-Working

Thanks to the Magic of Networking in general, and the connections provided by Qondio in particular, I've discovered the site about "innerpreneuring": business which is authentic, ethical and exciting. Entrepreneurship and business are passé. It's about enjoying what you're doing in terms of providing a service or selling a product. I read a great quote on the site: "Activism is my rent for living on this planet." Activism here meant "encourageing better thinking"!!! What a thought!... Apparently the line comes from Alice Walker who became famous for the film The Colour Purple which I LOVED. And thus I feel confirmed in my approach to life and business, even though I'm "unsuccessful" in terms of money. But my former and late husband used to say "It depends on how you measure 'success'. The Japanese measure it in the number of risks taken..." I love Frederick and Donna Miller on qondio for having taken the risk of learning about computing in mature life!!!

I've discovered a lot of amazing, interesting, and even fascinating things on Qondio I had no interest in, thanks to the screening system. But the management of this site need to get their act together and make some drastic changes to push the site to the next level. Networking should be just the first step. A system which is more welcoming of posts such as this intel might be the next.

The Japanese also put a tremendous amount of weight on indivual responsibility, for their actions.
We need more responsibility taught in the home and in our schools.
