"Follow your bliss"

By "following my bliss", I have come to live a life at the edge and in "splendid intellectual isolation". I consider "3D Metrics" to be my life's work. After all, it's taken me 13 years so far to develop it. BUT, it HAS to be expressed as software and it always takes money to pay programmers. So far, at least, I have not managed to find programmers who would act as partners. I call it my "professional life with zest", for the results, so far, are stunning - with the demo software that sits on my laptop. But because it's been sooo difficult to turn my insights into more usable code and fundable projects, I have also developed a "social life with meaning". Strangely enough, it's about equally little understood "mechanisms": national debts. I have devoted a whole site in German to spelling out "in a nutshell" what took me years to grasp, comprehend and describe in one way or another in my various English blogs. So now I am oscillating between the complex systems that I "crack" with my 3d metrics software methods - while I am seeking to exploit the commercial potential - and the "money stuff" where I feel I'm swimming in the open sea: soooo many people who need and ought to know and so many who know, but don't yet make enough of a difference... What a challenging life! But I've just been accepted to participate in the Innovation Village of Photonics Europe. So somebody is listening / watching / getting my message. Thanks for reading!
